Course Substitutions

Please consult with your ²¹³¦²¹»å±ð³¾¾±³¦Ìý²¹»å±¹¾±²õ´Ç°ù before enrolling in a substitute course or with questions about pacing. ÌýSome substitutes are only appropriate for students pursuing a specific minor or option track, based on requisites.

Some of the courses listed below may be restricted to students in that major. To request enrollment in a course that's restricted, you may need to submit a course request form.

  • Calc 1, 2, 3: can be completed in APPM 1350, 1360, 2350 or MATH 1300, 2300, 2400 departments
  • APPM 2360 Linear Algebra & Differential Equations: MATH 2130+3430
    • In addition to satisfying APPM 2360, MATH 2130+3430 will also satisfy the Math/Science Foundations requirement.
  • EVEN 1000 Intro to Environmental Engineering: any Intro class in the Engineering College for change of major students
  • GEEN 1400 Engineering Projects:ÌýASEN 1400, ASEN 1403, COEN 1400, ECEN 1400, GEEN 2400 (sophomores or juniors), GEEN 3400 (JR/SR), EMEN 4030 (JR/SR level)
  • CHEN 1201 Chemistry for Engineers:ÌýCHEM 1113, CHEN 1211, CHEM 1400, MCEN 1024
  • CHEN 1203/ CHEM 1221 Chemistry for Engineers 2: CHEM 1133/1134
