  • Design and revise academic programs, courses, and other learning experiences to ensure alignment between content and outcomes, whether developing new offerings or refreshing existing ones.
  • Support course interaction and revision through ongoing feedback and best practices in course design.
  • Facilitate learning events to build a community around educational topics.
  • Design program-specific course templates and structures in Canvas to maintain consistency across courses within a program
  • Provide instructional support services for all CU-Boulder Canvas courses, including face-to-face, remote, and online formats.
  • Offer department training and development courses to support faculty in enhancing teaching practices.
  • Design learning activities that promote deeper understanding, better retention, and critical thinking.
  • Create interactive and engaging experiences to reduce student disengagement and improve motivation.
  • Assist in designing and developing assessments, rubrics, and assessment strategies.
  • Design courses to support diverse learners, including students with disabilities.
  • Build active, student-centered learning experiences.
  • Promote accessibility and inclusivity through 
  • Provide course development and Canvas Studio support, offering guidance to help faculty ensure courses meet ADA compliance and accessibility standards.
  • Provide ongoing professional development through trainings, workshops, and webinars, including:
  • Effectively use campus-supported educational technologies to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Guide faculty in adopting tools and best practices for improved teaching strategies.
  • Develop course templates and building blocks to streamline course creation.
  • Reduce non-teaching tasks, allowing faculty to focus on student success, research, mentoring, and scholarly activities.
  • Offer ongoing support for course revisions and updates based on feedback and emerging trends in instructional design.
